The field of study of mathematics at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics was honoured with the prestigious Education Excellence Certificate for achieving excellence in education at a field of study. The decision was made by the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee.
On 23 February 2023, the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee adopted the Resolution No. 118/2023 on awarding Education Excellence Certificates. On its basis, as many as 11 fields of study in Poland were honoured with the most important certificate, namely for achieving excellence in education at a field of study, including one at the AGH University of Krakow. Thereby, the highest quality of the first- and second-cycle degree Mathematics programme at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics was confirmed. The awarded certificate is a perfect acknowledgement and results from the positive evaluation in the report by the team from the Polish Accreditation Committee. We may hold the certificate until the end of the 2028/2029 academic year.
